The Grand Roxy is conveniently located in the heart of Brighton Le Sands, Sydney. The venue boasts uninterrupted views of Botany Bay that are simply breathtaking.
Set just 50 metres from the white sand and sparkling waters of Botany Bay, The Grand Roxy boasts uninterrupted views that are simply breathtaking. On any given day you can view majestic water craft and gliding wind surfers sailing across the bay. At night, be mesmerised by the romantic flickering of city lights.
Located on the historic shores of Botany Bay, over the past 70 years the establishment has changed from a seaside suburban milk bar, to Cabaret Restaurant called The Roxy, owned and operated by the late, world famous Mr Bernard King, to Surf Lifesaving Australia Head Quarters and finally to what is now, The Grand Roxy.
With major roads leading to and near Brighton-Le-Sands, The Grand Roxy is a destination which is easy to find and only a short drive away. We are only 5 minutes away from the domestic and international terminals of Kingsford Smith Airport. From the south, it’s a short 10 minute drive from the Sutherland Shire. To the east, it’s a 15 minute drive from the beautiful city-centre and picturesque Sydney Harbour. And locally, we are a short 500 metre stroll from popular and cosmopolitan cafés like Bay Vista and restaurant strip of Brighton-Le-Sands and the Novotel Hotel.
Owner, Mr Bill Mougios and his family have been operating the iconic The Botany Bay Seafood Restaurant located on the ground floor, since 1983. It has always been Bill’s dream to restore the building to its original grandeur. This dream became a reality in 2004 when The Bayside Council granted approval to major restorations of the building.
Whether it is a wedding, an engagement, a ball, a fundraiser, a christening or a corporate event, our vision is simple: To offer our clientele the ultimate experience. A serene, warm and modern setting that is accompanied by food and service that is second to none.
